Hello everyone 🙂
Ok, first, here’s the deal: Because I have such a busy life at school, I will only post three to four blog post a season normally in a few days in a week. For this autumn season, I will only do about three.
Phew. That part is done. Now let’s get onto the letter E.
Drum roll please…
Excellent or Excellence
As children of God, he created us to be excellent in character. In fact, Psalms 1:3 describes what a Godly person should be like:
“That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yield in fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither-whatever they do prospers.”
Ah, isn’t that lovely? God wants to be prosperous which is the alternate word for this. But what is the Godly “Fruit” meant to represent? Galatians 5:22-23 says,:
“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. There is no law against these”.
God wants us to be filled with excellence in whatever we do and as God’s children, we have an immediate access key to excellence. Isn’t that cool?
Perhaps after this series, I might have a look at the fruit of the spirit. I actually will be looking at some of them. Can you guess what they are?
And what other Bible verses are there that speak of excellence?
I talked about excellence in character. What other aspects of excellence are there?
