Friendship Month

Hello everyone!!!

My name is Kaelyn and I am the author of the blog, Kaelyn’s Life!! I am a Christian, I love to read, and I have an amazing family!!  I have done one guest post on Nancy Rue Presents: Tween You and Me. I also thought I should add, that I do posts for the Sunshine Stop, Adorable Cats( and other animals), and now I will start doing once a month posts for the Golden Medallion!!!

This month is about FRIENDSHIP!!!  I mean, who doesn’t like friendship?!  I love friends!!  I love my friends and I enjoy making new ones too!!   One question for you all, what words describe your friends?  Fun?  Caring?  Trusting?  A lot of things may come to mind and what comes to my mind, when I think of my friends, is that they

  LOVE JESUS AND OTHERS WELL!!!

Now, that we have had time to think about our friends, how about we think about how we could be better friends?   ANYONE CAN BE BETTER FRIENDS!!!   Most importantly, what does friendship really mean?

I looked up the meaning of friendship and this is what I found:

friend·ship
ˈfren(d)SHip
noun
  1. the emotions or conduct of friends; the state of being friends.
    • a relationship between friends.
    • plural noun: friendships
    • “she formed close friendships with women”
    • a state of mutual trust and support between allied nations

What stuck out to me in those definitions was one word,  TRUST!!!!

Being the kind of person I am, I looked up the meaning of trust too on the internet.

trust
trəst/Submit
noun
1.
firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.
“relations have to be built on trust”
synonyms: confidence, belief, faith, certainty, assurance, conviction, credence; reliance
“good relationships are built on trust”
2.
LAW
confidence placed in a person by making that person the nominal owner of property to be held or used for the benefit of one or more others.
verb

1.believe in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of.
“I should never have trusted her”
synonyms: rely on, depend on, bank on, count on, be sure of
“he can be trusted to carry out an impartial investigation”
2.

WHAT TRUST REALLY MEANS IS, TO HAVE FAITH IN THEM!!   That when you trust someone, you can rely on them!   Having trust in our relationship is letting people know that you have their backs and that they have yours!!  To be better friends,  we need to have trust!!!

Here is an awesome verse in the Bible that really represents  the meaning of friendship well!!

To be able to learn to trust, we need to first trust in God!!  We need to trust that He knows what is best for us.

Right now, I am in a season where I have to trust God with my school right now. I know He knows what is best for me and that He will never leave me or let me go.

So, I encourage you to TRUST God, so you can learn to be TRUSTworthy, and to be able to TRUST your friends.   God created friendship in the first place and we know with Him He will never break His trust!!

I will see you all next month!!  I am praying blessings over all of our readers!!
